●          There are tools that you can leverage to actually create your career vision statement

●          Writing your retirement party speech allows you to imagine and be inspired to make the right decisions to get there

●           Identify the key relationships that you want with the people that will attend your retirement party

●           Write out the legacy that you want to leave behind and how you want people to benefit

●          Define in detail what perfection looks like in your career and what you would have to achieve to get there

●          Reflect on common themes and words from these exercises and look to them as a point of focus
